In recent years, with the unceasing enhancement of user's requirement of the flatness and residual stress of plate, the key point of plate development is shifting from pursuit of quantity to pursuit of quality, taking effective measures to improve the plate quality has become a problem which major manufacturers urgently need to solve. Roller leveler as an indispensable auxiliary equipment in the steel rolling line, is an important means to improve plate defects, and largely decide the product quality.For the present, the design for roller leveler of medium plate was mainly based on the analogical approach in China, and the essence of roller leveler is lack of research. This paper is supported by"the key technical study on hot roller leveler of medium plate", which is signed between Chongqing University and some company, its purpose is to analyze mechanical parameter and dynamic simulation of strip shape on roller leveler of medium plate, the main content of the paper is as follows:â‘ Based on the knowledge of mechanics of materials, elastic-plastic mechanics and other relevant knowledge, this paper deduces formulas of mechanical parameter on roller leveler, and analyzes the influence of advance contact angle on leveling force.â‘¡According to the working characteristics of roller leveler, based on the finite element soft MSC.Marc, this paper calculates leveling force, and discusses the influence of rigid roller and flexible roller, reduction, plasticity percentage, ratio of original curvature on the leveling force; Based on the good interaction between Python and MSC.Marc and the similarity of modeling process and loading procedure, the paper develops a software for finite element parametric simulation of roller leveler.â‘¢Based on finite element method, this paper gets roller shape curve by analyzing roller leveler with bending roll device, and discusses the influence of plate width, leveling force, Bending force on the roller shape curve. At last, this paper develops a software of roller shape curve for specific roller leveler.To sum up, research methods to be applied in this paper is advanced and practical, and research results has theoretical guidance meaning and practical application value, which is very important for guiding the design of roller leveler.
