| This paper calculated the 1990~2007 year ecological footprint and ecological capacity of Tangshan city by the statistical data, and analyzed and discussed them according to the characteristics of the main areas of Tangshan City, the results showed that:Overall, the demand of the ecological footprint per capita showed an increasing trend, the ecological capacity per capita gradually decreased, the ecological deficit per capita gradually decreased from 1990 to 2007 in Tangshan. The development trends of various land types showed:â‘ the ecological capacity per capita of the fossilland and farmland decreased slowly from 1990 to 1995, they showed fast-rising speed after 1995, other land type was relatively gentle;â‘¡The fossilland ecological footprint per capita was damage lightly from 1990 to 1995, the damage strength increased after 1995, the failure strength of other type lands were small;â‘¢The ecological deficit/ earnings per capital aspect, the farmland and waterland showed the ecological earnings, but it showed the decreased trend, the grassland, forestland, fossilland and buildingland showed the ecological deficit, but the deficit of the fossilland in 1995 more serious than them in 1990-1995. The ecological footprint of the fossilland was biggest among various land, secondly for buildingland and forestland, to a great extent, it reflected that the economic development in Tangshan dependent the consumption of the natural resource, and the supplies cannot satisfy human demand, the ecological pressure exceed the limit range of the ecological capacity, they showed the natural resource consumption for Tangshan people increased year by year, it exceed the carrying capacity of natural ecosystem, the contradiction between the ecological footprint and the ecological capacity increased gradually.Based on these results, the paper put forward some suggestions that improved the technical level, adjust industrial structure, implement strictly family planning, strengthen enterprise management, optimized the internal cycle of the enterprise production in industry concentration development area. Meanwhile, in order to increase the potential for the sustainable development of Tangshan, we must cut down energy consumption, reduce emissions of pollutants, and reduce natural resource depletion, etc. The existence of ecological deficit illustrates that the per capita consumption of Tangshan more than the natural system of ecological carrying capacity. Its development was an ecosystem of unsustainable. Therefore, Tangshan should change the resource consumption model of economic growth in the present and improve resource utilization; adjust the industrial structure and agricultural planting structure reasonably to ensure high-yield agriculture income, to enhance the capacity of land to create wealth. |
