Research On Graphics System And Process Design Rules Of Welded Structure

Welding Process Design plays an important role in the manufacturing quality system of heavy vehicles. However it's inefficient in manual WPD process because of its multiple factors,empirical,complexity and so on. The way to solve this problem is to use WCAPP.This paper analyzed the current status of CAPP and WCAPP study,and formulated the general framework for heavy vehicles manufacturing industry. The database was established by Microsoft SQL Server 2000,and the application was developed by VC++6.0.Three categories,fourteen types of welding joints were classified,and so a joint groove graphics rendering method driven by parameters was given. A large number of joint data was inputed into the database.The computing method of weld area for different forms of groove was investigated,and the algorithm for weld corner,weld reinforcement and back chipping was given.The process design rules for this system were investigated,and the experiments for the process rules of connector cover layer,intermediate layer and bottom layer were done. The swing and multi-channel rules for wide weld of connector cover layer,the filling rules for intermediate layer and the penetration for bottom layer were investigated by comparing the stability of the welding process,splash conditions,weld macro-forming conditions and weld and heat affected zone microstructure.So such conclusions as the joint of 20mm up-end was suitable for multi-channel welding(include process specification) were got.The process reasoning module and test report management module were tested. The program was optimized,and the system can satisfy the demand of process reasoning well.So a automated and informatization platform for heavy vehicles weld process design was offered in this paper.
