Modal analysis is the major technique for the mechanism dynamic properties. For the NC Drill and Milling Machine, we found the main shaft system dynamic model with workbench. From the theory modal analysis, found the main shaft systems' inherent frequency. Then we found tool main shaft's each modality of vibration to proceed modal analysis of the tool main shaft system by single input single output modal analysis. The stimulate signal is impulse. It gets the response signal with acceleration transducer. With DH5920 dynamic analytic system, we proceed the main shaft system's modality test at the static state. Thereby it gets the modal frequency of the tool of main shaft systems.The study gets the main shaft system's dynamic characteristics from the main shaft real time spectrogram. For preventing the tool forced vibration and cutting vibration, we attaining the tool's optimum cutting velocity is 500~2500 r/min. This text also analyses the weak link of the main shaft system impacting the machining quality. It has importance significance to advance NC Drill and Milling Machine dynamic characteristics. Then this text compared the natural frequency of the experimentation modal analysis and theory analysis. From this, we proved the academic modal analysis is right. |
