Indandiones are widely used to control mice and rat populations.But the use and regulation can not be controlled well,we frequently hear that someone or some animal was poisoned by the anticoagulant rodenticides.Therefore,To establish a simple,accurate and sensitive method for the simulataneous determination of four indandione rodenticides in food,blood used for human consumption is an important task.The extraction condition was optimized by using ethanol and ethyl acetate(5:95,v/v) as solvent in the phosphate buffer(pH 5.5).The separation of four indandione rodenticides was performed on a ZORBAX SB C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm i.d.,5μm) using phosphate buffer(pH 6.3),acetonitrile and methanol as mobile phase by gradient elution.The cohlmn temperature was controlled at 30℃.The wavelength of UV detector was set at 280 nm. Valone and pindon in the range of 0.02-20 mg/L and diphacinone and chlorophacinone in the range of 0.02-50 mg/L had a good linear relation.The detection limit was found to be 0.05 mg/L for valone,pindon,diphacinone and chlorophacinone.A liquid-liquid extraction was developed for creal samples preparation.Recoveries were ranged from 76.5 to 95.1%for all compounds at two different spiked levels and the lirnit of detections.(LODs) ranged from 0.02 to 0.05mg/kg,with relative standard deviations (RSD)between 3.64%and 9.38%.Liquid-liquid extraction coupled with SPE is presented for vegetable and blood.Recoveries for vegetable samples ranged from 76.3 to 87.1%and the LODs ranged from 0.03 to 0.06mg/kg,with RSDs between 5.0%and 8.7%.Recoveries for blood sample ranged from 77.6 to 84.1%and the LODs ranged from 0.04to 0.06mg/kg with RSDs between 6.0%and 11.3%.These method were found to be sensitive,fast and accurate to determine trace indandione are simple,accurate and suitable for cereal,vegetable and blood,especially the recoveries of creal is high.
