Research Of Multi-puncher Marking On Running Steel Product Line

Improving pneumatic marking technics and making it work fluently with steel product line is a problem of steel factory for a long time. Single-needle machine is used in most steel product lines so far in China. This kind of machine needs steel board stop to mark, and production efficiency decreases. It can not follow the need of high marking speed and working automation.After analyzing the marking theory of pneumatic marking machine, this thesis combines technologies of multi-puncher pneumatic marking and move control, and then proposes the architecture of multi-puncher pneumatic mark on running steel product line. With largely increased marking speed, synchronous movement of marking head and steel board on steel product line, the potential efficiency of steel product line is dug out.To control marking head's movement, this thesis first proves the feasibility by analyzing time consumption, then implements board detection with signal state conversion, and then sets parameters of SIMENS MicroMaster based on lots of trying To speed up multi-puncher pneumatic marking, this thesis converts marking data according to characteristics of multi-puncher and optimizes moving path of marking head. Besides these two main points, software running on computer offers strong ability of managing marking data and implements marking data fetching with plug-ins, making the system easy to extend related functions. The thesis consists of analysis of problems we met during debugging and installation, it is valuable for related research.This thesis shows test and installation result at last, marking head moving and marking speed both reach our expectation and the requirements of steel product line. The machine is working on steel production line now.
