| Oil production by screw pump is an advanced oil production technology developed in recent years, because of its small system size, convenient maintenance and administration and high pump efficiency, so it is taken into account increasingly, and is widely developed and applied in oil fields. The current status of screw pump production, development tendency and producing principle of screw pump are summarily introduced in the thesis. The screw pump system condition diagnosis techniques were studied. Knowing the condition of the pump mainly use of production data to calculate the operating characteristic parameters of shaft and pump, such as torque, displacement, lift, efficiency and power. Comparing with the pump characteristic curve to know the work of pumping conditions. Based on the comparing with the torque, current to know pump operating status, the judgment of pump matching with reservoir conditions and pump operating conditions has been done and the causes of poor pump working conditions has been analyzed.In this paper, LB1600 screw pump system has been designed and calculated combination of the previous design experience. The stator and rotor parts of structural parameters has been optimized in order to allow the system to become more reasonable. The key parameters of drive device has been calculated and the life span of the drive unit has been assessed. Screw pump system on the other supporting facilities have been conducted the strength checking to ensure that the oil production system reliability.The practical application of LB1600 large displacement screw pump systems showed that the displacement reducing are limited and energy-saving are effect compared with 95 pumps. Compared with the unit, disposable inputs are much less and economic benefits are considerable. In the past two years, the screw LB1600 alternative similar products data have been cited. Compared with the domestic similar products, LB1600 screw pump systems have obvious advantages.
