Oil pumping unit is the most common application of drilling machines. It needs large electric power but provide low efficiency. An energy-saving control system for oil-pumping unit is designed which use sensors and TFT LCD based on ARM central processor. It solves the following problems: realizing the precise control of pumping stroke frequency, improving efficiency and energy-saving.Indicator diagram of pumping well contains abundant information of pump, stem, bar which reflects the well condition. It is the significant data for fault diagnosis of pumping well.Therefore, the rapid and efficient real-time measurement of pumping power and indicator diagram drawing is the important link of energy-saving controller design.This paper aims to design an energy-saving control system of oil pumping which based on a 32-bit Cortex-M3 chip STM32F103RBT6. According to the data collected by the outside sensors, STM32F103RBT6 microprocessor chip will execute algorithm programming to draw out the indicator diagram and display it on the TFT screens. It may help users make accurate judgment of the oil well's real condition, and adjust pumping stroke frequency, improve pumping efficiency.The whole system is divided into three parts: (1) read the external sensor signals; (2) data signal processing; (3) theoretical and the actual indicator diagram display.The experimental results and waveforms are given and analyzed in detail. It shows that the system can enhance the utilize efficiency of power in effect and have a good future for popularization. |
