Wetland ,which have huge ecology function,is a very important ecosystem on global scale.It is very practical meaning to study about the wetland ecological security under global changing.Wetland ecological security maintains the continuity of process of the wetland ecological system, the stability of structure of the wetland ecological system and the integrality of the functions of wetland ecological system.Firstly, that analyses the symbols of wetland ecological security. It is the chiefly environment conditions to protect water resources because water resources are main factor sustaining wetlands. Wetland has the function of water resource conservation, the function of regulating climate, the function of supplying underground water and the function of reducing pollution, and all of these are based up on an adequate area of wetland. Wetland,which maintain enough area,that have integrated and direct behavior of that supplying source of water and protecting wetland. Wetland security,which is embodied in the landscape,is stability of wetland landscape pattern. Bio-diversity of wetland population concentrate on the expression that the normal performance of wetland ecological function. The normal behavior of wetland function base on the diversity and integrity of wetland vegetation species. Delineation of wetland types is base on different wetland ecological environment in essence. A variety of wetlands constitutes a well-functioning wetland ecosystem. The stability of wetland ecosystem's internal structure show wetland ecosystem security situation indirectly. The nature of wetand security is normalization of wetland process.By using the framework of laws and regulation,wetland protection can be more credibility ,and control the action of making use of wetland freely to result in destroying it.That embody the policy of wetland security.Secondly,the author analyse the main problems of wetland ecological security assessment of other researchers before.For example,calculating the threshold wetland ecological water requirement,analysing the minimum area of wetland ecological security,reasonableness wetland landscape pattern, bio-diversity of wetland population, regional characters of wetland ecological security assessment,supporting of wetland process to wetland ecological security assessment,quantity of assessment index,etc. Thirdly,basing on analysis above and concept model of pressure-state-response,that establish an index system of wetland ecological security assessment.It necessary to select appropriate index to evaluate wetland ecological security,when it is to evaluate a particular wetland.Lastly,it is very diffuilt to calculate some the simbols of wetland ecological security because it is diffult to get survey data.It is hopeful to invent more effective methods to get data in future study.That is insufficient in quantifying index,and it is one of the directions in further study through research of multi-discipinary and multi-level.of course,it may be insufficient of index system of wetland ecological security assessment,which is established,through summary other researchers's study.so it need to more research to improve it.
