Our research is mainly on comprehensive utilization of the camptothecin-extracted solid wastes from leaves and seeds of Camptotheca acuminata with compact shaping and oxygen-free pyrolysis. The moister and ash contents of the solid wastes were detected. The contents of lignin, hemi-cellulose and cellulose were also measured on the basic utilization of biomass to provide technique theories of comprehensive utilization with the solid wastes.Both solid wastes from Camptotheca acuminata were squeezed with compact shaping technique at high-temperature and the value of the solid wastes were improved by transforming the loose granular to the compact biomass briquetting. The two important conditions of compact shaping technique were the content of the moister of the solid wastes and the exact temperature controlled by the forming machine. The optimum moisture content of the solid wastes from leaves is 7.63~12.39% and the seeds is 6.93~15.23%. The temperature of the exact temperature used to compact the wastes from leaves is 200~300℃and the seeds is 150~300℃.Biomass carbon, biomass tar, vinegar fluid and biomass pyrolystic gas were transformed from the compact biomass briquetting which were made from leaves and seeds of Camptotheca acuminata with oxygen-free pyrolysis. With the heating power of oxygen-free furnace, the yield of biomass carbon was decreased; the yield of biomass pyrolystic gas was increased; the yield of biomass tar and vinegar fluid had no remarkable changes.Void structure and relatively high surface area were found in the biomass carbon by the scanning electron microscope. 115 kinds of organic compounds were found in biomass tar and 53 kinds of organic compounds were found in biomass vinegar fluid from the leaves of Camptotheca acuminate with oxygen-free pyrolysis separately by liquid-chromatogram/mass spectrum(LC-MS). At the same time, 140 kinds of organic compounds in biomass tar and 41 kinds of organic compounds in biomass vinegar were found in the seeds. The existing of all these organic compounds has important effect on further exploration of biomass tar and biomass vinegar.
