With the great progress of industrialization , Ink-jet printer as the indispen sable device of the industrial assembly line was advanced more high-speed , st able . This paper had researched and designed a continue ink-jet printer whichbased on ARM+FPGA. The design break out the traditional mode, and beco me a perfect instead of the traditional products .Paper discussed it's principle at first , then advanced a fully new Multi-CP U hardware mode based ARM9+FPGA ,according this we developed a sample s uccessfully . the paper described the hardware and software design of the ink-jetprinter in details , the design of the hardware system including the main proce ssor ARM ,the coprocessor FPGA and the high-voltage direct-current power mod e , the design of the software system including the device driver's development ,the system's application and the module of the processing of ink-jet data.In this paper, the ARM9 processor constructed a nice human-machine inte rface environment with the LCD display and touch screen. According it user c an set the system parameter and the ink-jetting data conveniencely , moreover it also can show the system status to user in real-time. The nandflash of AR M main board stored the system's bootloader, the image of Linux kernel, the Qtopia's root filesystem, the user's ink-jetting data etc mainly . The NorFlash of the main board used to store the supervivi . FPGA acted a coprocessor in t he ink-jet system,it received the data which ARM sended to it , and controllin g the high-speed DAC0800 to recharge the ink-drops accurately .DAC0800 wa s controlled by FPGA to generate the waveform of characters . The other DA C TLC7225 control the speed of ink pump , the voltage of characters, the hig h-voltage of deflecting and the voltage of phase detector .Experiments indicated every modules of the system of ARM+FPGA can w ork in stably ,and the sample also can work normally .The co-processor FPGA processing the ink-jetting data with the frequency of 125K. |
