The Evaluative Study Of Ecological Sensitivity And Ecological Suitability Of Scenic Area Based On GIS

The ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability analysis are the fundamental analysis and evaluation of the ecological planning in tourism area,the core of ecological planning.The rational delimitation of the range and grade in ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability not only provides scientific reference to various successive plans,but also exerts great influence on protection and exploitation of scenic area.Recently,certain experience of planning and constructing tourism area has been accumulated, which brings about a set of rules and standards;however,tourism planning is still in its infancy from the perspective of Ecology.For instance,qualitative analysis is widely applied to carry out analytical evaluation of the ecological environment,which makes the analytical result more subjective and less persuasive to guide the decision-making and plan.Furthermore,this kind of analysis can not reflect the difference in sensitivity of scenic area objectively and quantitatively,and this redundant traditional method leads to less convenient and scientific planning.With the rapid development of GIS technology,the more convenient technological platform has been provided to the ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability analysis of planning scenic area.Methodologies such as theory study,case study,and the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis are used in this dissertation.First of all,this paper introduces the related concept and research development of ecological-sensitivity,ecological-suitability and GIS.Then,the procedures of the evaluation are set up,combining the qualitative research with the quantitative one.The factor weighted-stack method and Fuzzy method are employed as the rationale,and GIS as the teclogical platform.Accordingly,evaluation index system is built,evaluation criteria determined and the method and process of ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability analysis of tourism area are made.Finally,the tourism plan for ChongQing Huangguashan has been illustrated as the example.The current paper consists of four parts.Partâ… (from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2) is the literature review and preface.The literature review introduces the related concept of ecological-sensitivity, ecological-suitability and GIS,and recalls the research development;the preface describes the background,purpose and significance,methods and technology of the research,Partâ…¡(from Chapter 3 to Chapter 5) is the theoretical preliminary,introducing the related theory,method and content of GIS technology,sensitivity analysis and suitability analysis respectively as well as showing how to apply the combination of these two into the tourism planning.Partâ…¢(Chapter 6) is the example,that is,in this chapter,the tourism plan for ChongQing Huangguashan has been analyzed as the example,which expounds detailedly how to apply GIS into the ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability analysis of tourism area.The last part is the conclusion(Chapter 7),which summarizes the dissertation and proposes the achievements and the insufficiency in this research.To sum up,this dissertation confirms that the ecological-sensitivity and ecological-suitability analysis of tourism area relying on GIS brings much convenience to ecological plan,and at the same time,improves the reasonability,accuracy,timeliness,and efficiency,which is of great importance to reasonable specific planning.
