Profiled plate is an important steel structure including roof board, wall board (interior wall and exterior wall), floor slabs, ceiling floor, decorative panels and so on. It has been widely used in buildings. Circular structures are designed in modern architecture .Profiled plate is needed in constructing the structure .So sweeping is needed in the production of the profiled plate.Roll forming is a new technology with many advantages such as saving material and energy. It has been used in many productions. Trial and error are usually used in roll forming process. But this method should try many times when producting profiled plate, especially when manufacturing new products. Finite element analysis simulation can reduce the number of test.This paper focuses on a finite element analysis simulation of rollformed sweeping process according to the profiled plate production process in Wuxi Guangcai machinery manufacturing Co., Ltd. Give three different arc radius and sweeping results in three installation locations , analysis the stress and strain of the profiled plate. Provide important data for further research on profiled plate. The simulation data is essential to the profiled plate manufacturing enterprises. The simulation results can be used in the profiled plate product, reduce the number of test mode and save the production cost.More new products will be manufactured.This is a good news to the development of steel industry even to the development of construction industry.
