| The purpose of landfill site closure is not only used for pollution and security control, but also for the better ecological construction. Because of economic and technical problems,in many cities of China, the closure of landfill site exists problems. It can cause harm incidents, and could not really reach the purpose of landfill site closure. How to correctly evaluate the closure of the landfill site is yet to be resolved.Objective This paper is to set up an evaluation system of the solid waste landfill site closure and expects to instruct the design, operation and management of the landfill site closure.Content and method This paper starts from the aim of landfill site closure and then analyses the problems in the landfill site closure.10 factors have been adopted in this paper, which influence on closure of landfill site. The evaluation index system of landfill site closure has been set up. The index weight and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of landfill site closure are confirmed by adopting AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and fuzzy management theory.Results and Conclusion (1) Analyze the purpose and the problems in landfill site closure (2) Based on rules of the evaluation a concise, comprehensive and workable good indicator system has been set up in three aspects, engineering construction, maintenance and management system, ecological construction. It is foundation of further evaluation work. (3) Apply AHP to determine the weights of evaluation indicators and constructed fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model of landfill site closure (4) Select Jinkou landfill site closure in Wuhan as empirical study. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model presented in this paper is applied to it. The result for its comprehensive evaluations is reasonable credibility. Accordingly, the paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions in the landfill site closure.
