Equipment layout issue of manufacturing system is a synthetically and complicated one of design tasks in manufacturing factory for the long term, meanwhile it is a crucial and basilica task for enterprise growth. A Corporation located in Shenzhen has to improve productivity for competing with corporations in low cost area. At present, it takes about 90 to 95 percent time on internal factory logistic in H corporation stamping part's manufacturing cycle time. TO optimize factory equipment layout is a pivotal factor to improve the internal logistics' efficiency.This paper takes optimizing the stamping factory equipments' layout in H Corporation as an aim, analysis the existing problems, and then setup mathematics models for single product line and multi product lines based on minimizing the cost of internal factory logistic. Application of genetic algorithms to solve real mixed coding using the encoding, design a reasonable fitness function and genetic operator, through MATLAB software programming operation, the five groups are feasible solution, through a combination of actual production situation on the outcome of further analysis calculated by the layout of the equipment Improvement program, effectively improving the efficiency of logistics.This combination of equipment related to the layout of the theory and principles of genetic algorithms, the H stamping workshop equipment companies to optimize the layout of the research and application, and achieved more satisfactory results for the H Company has provided equipment layout of the proposed guidance.
