Research On Manufacturing Technique And Wearing Properties Of Knitted Jeans Fabric

The development history of Jeans fabric is long and can be traced to one hundreds ago. The traditional cotton denim jeans are waved by machine which discriminates blue warp and white weft, and the texture of fabric are coarse and endure. Garments made of the fabric are casual, poor permeability and elasticity, thus can't be manufactured quit a range. Recently, it appears in China and international market, which the fabric knitted by circular string machine with raw and indigo-dyed cotton yarn or special functional yarn. We can knit different textual features knitted jeans fabric through changing knitting structures and jacquard patterns. As soon as the knitted jeans presents in market, it become the hot focus and new developing garments fabric to international Jeans manufactories.At present, the knitted jeans market has taken initial shape in China, however, almost all knitted jeans manufactories'production techniques haven't mature enough yet. Especially, the wearing properties of knitted jeans fabric haven't been researched in depth, and the objective appraising system about them hasn't been found. Therefore, it is of great academic and practical significance for broadening the apply field of knitted jeans fabric that we research on the manufacturing technique, wearing properties of knitted jeans fabric, and furthermore design and develop the new products based on it.Our disquisition begins with studying the yarn used in knitted jeans. Firstly, the article introduces the specialty and producing processes of yarn between knitted jeans fabric and woven jeans'. Then, the difference performance of cotton and indigo-dyed yarn has been tested and analyzed. It releases the result that indigo dye effect cotton yarn. Then, we study the manufacturing technique and test wearing properties of knitted jeans fabric, including fabric structures'design, the selection of knitting machine, the determination of processing parameters, the design of dyeing and finishing technique process, the test and evaluation of the fabric's performance, of which the most important is the foundation of the knitted jeans'appraising system. The last one is the design of knitted jeans garments'accessories, which includes the design of patterns and color, the design of jacquard, the drawing of fashion illustration, and the knitting of practicality. We have designed and knitted garments accessories, which includes some head wears and scarves.Basing on the theory, the emphasis of the thesis are practice and innovation. The innovation of the thesis firstly is that we have defined the knitted jeans scientifically, then have tested and analyzed the performance of knitted jeans. Finally, we have designed the knitted the garments accessories. All the analysis and tests we have made may provide the theory reference for further research. Moreover, it would enrich product kinds of knitted jeans and improve products'value, meanwhile induce the manufacture cost through developing the new knitted jeans. Our research would extend the knitted jeans fabric applying fields in fashion, and would promise a broad market prospect for the knitted jeans.
