Magnetic papers which are manufactured with these magnetic nano-composities fibers can be applied in many fields, including magnetism response, magnetic recording, anti-counterfeiting. It helps to expand cellulose fiber application areas and add new variety of functional paper.Magnetic nano-composites fibers were prepared by chemical co-precipitation method and precipitation oxo-process method of in-situ synthesis method in the paper, respectively. Magnetic papers were made by papermaking technics. The main factors were investigated affecting the loading degree of the magnetic particles in the fibers. The structure and properties of magnetic paper were charactered by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results showed that:1. The optimal preparation conditions of chemical co-precipitation method are as folows: Fe2+ concentration 0.06mol/L, the amount of PEI 2%,reaction temperature 60℃, aging time 60min and stirring speed 1000r/min.2.Magnetic fiber were prepared by precipitation oxo-process method. Fitting conditions are as follows: Fe2+ concentration 0.08mol/L, reaction temperature 65℃, aging time 120min and stirring speed 800r/min. With the composite times increasing, the loading degree of the magnetic particles will correspondingly augment.3. The structure and characterization were analyzed of the magnetic pulp that were prepared by chemical co-precipitation metnod. The results show that:The XRD results confirm that the magnetic particles are Fe3O4.The SEM micrograph shows that the size of magnetic particles(60-100nm) belong to the field of nanometer size and are distributed uniformly [0] .The VSM results indicate that the magnetic pulp fiber possesses superparamagnetic behavior.4. To the magnetic fiber that are prepared by precipitation oxo-process method, the analyzed results show that: the XRD results confirm that the type of the magnetic particles are changed along with the composite times increasing. When the composite times are five, the magnetic particles are mainly Fe3O4.The SEM micrograph shows that the diameter of magnetic particles(<100nm) belong to the field of nanometer size and are distributed uniformly. The VSM results indicate that the magnetic pulp fiber possesses also superparamagnetic behavior.5. The physical properties of magnetic paper prepared by the chemistry co-precipitatio method and precipitation oxo-process method is poor. The color of the magnetic paper is dark, which affect the optical properties of paper. In order to improve the physical strength and optical properties of magnetic paper, the multilayer composite paper is prepared by magnetic paper as the interlayer and well meet the printing requirements. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | in situ synthesis method, chemical co-precipitation method, precipitation oxo-process method, magnetic particles, magnetic fiber, magnetic paper, the loading degree, magnetic properties | | Related items |
