Daqing Oilfield has entered into the high water cut period since the 1990s. The major oil reservoirs'physical properties are quite different from the secondary ones. Separate layer allocation technique can not only reduce differences among layers, but also resolve the imbalanced production problems, which provide vital technical support for high-efficiency oilfield development.Separate layer electric allocation technique was developed aiming to the rational water regulation in the high water cut period, which consists of surface facilities and downhole controlling systems. Its main design principle is to make use of the present mature techniques and simplify their operation process according to the Oilfield real situation. Novel packer and downhole adjustable blanking plug were researched based on the original eccentric regulator's construction and the downhole parameters. There are two balance cavities in packer. This design can avoid the packer releasing under high pressure when the pressure of the upper packer rubber is higher than that of lower part. Meanwhile, the latch mechanism is made of saw toothed screw threads that can improve the packer's reliable sealing property. Water nozzle was replaced by the moving valve and fixed valve in the adjustable blanking plug. The flow rate can be regulated through changing the cross areas between valves. The matching testing and controlling apparatus can measure the downhole real-time flow rate and realize the goal of testing and regulating in single trip, while not through changing the water nozzles in the blanking plug first and then testing two steps. This technique not only reduces the time of testing and controlling operation but also tremendously increase the efficiency of testing accuracy, which will provide a powerful technical support for maintaining the oilfield sustainable high and stable production.
