Research & Application About Coal Stamping Process With Lean Coal & Meager Coal

The paper research the coal stamping process with lean coal and meager coal, and take experiment and production on mediumsize and umbrella coke oven . The results of this research and manufacture make it knowed that : it's feasible to coking the lean and meager coal stamped with an important value on generalization.It has simulated the coal stamping process on industrial production and mensurated the thickness of plastic layer under the condition. It shows that: 1. with the tamping process ,the specific gravity of coal charge is increased , the interstice of the coal grain is diminished ,and the fluid offsprings in the interstice are diminished too. The plastic mass, which is thermolysised by coal, would fill in more interstices between coal grains, and it would form stronger coalescent between the interface when it cokings; 2. when the specific gravity of coal charge is increased and the interstice of the coal grain is diminished, the gases of the coking will separate out more difficult; with the swelling pressure between the coal growing up, it compels the coal grains more closed, and the contact area between deformed coal increases. It is propitious to the condensation reaction between pyrolysis product and free radical of coal and unsaturated compounds, and with the unvolatilizable offspring in liquid phase of the plastic mass increasing, it improves caking property.The industry experiment and production on mediumsize and umbrella coke oven indicate that: the quantity of plastic mass is increased by coal stamping process, and when there are enough plastic mass to the furnace, it's feasible to coking the lean and meager coal stamped with equal technological parameter. The quality of the coal attains the national standard. In addition, volatile matter of the mixed coal reduce at a great degree with lean coal and meager coal in relation to the coal with more volatile matter, and the gas separated out will decrease comparatively, so it enhances the density of coal, decreases the crack in coal, and improves the intensity index.
