Study On Computer Aided Design System Of Coal Mine Roadway Junction

Coal mine roadway junction means the place where coal mine roadways join or split. It's a important part of the whole roadway system of coal mines. The design of coal mine roadway junction lays great impact on transport ability, aeration and safety of coal mine.There are quite some junction types, each with heavy design workload. Deep research finds, however, that almost all of the drawing and calculating of those work are ruled by relative stable standards or rules. After reasonable analysis, one can abstract programmable steps from junction designing. So it's not only possible, but also significant to design and implement a computer aided design software for coal ming roadway junction designing.The work of this thesis designs and implements such a software system. It accepts raw parameters from coal mine designers, draws plan of coal mine roadway junction, calculates tunnel volume and material consuming qualities, the results of those calculations are outputted in forms of table. The software uses AutoCAD as drawing platform, it's whole output includes roadway junction plan and several tables, the whole drawing has been well laid out.The thesis mainly contains 5 chapters.Chapter 1 is introductory. It introduces current using of CAD in coal mine designing; enumerates and analyses some known CAD specially for coal mine roadway junction designing; and describes the research target.Chapter 2 serves as preliminary design of the software. Types of coal mine roadway junction are summarized here. After analyzing each drawing's character, preliminary drawing methods and steps are raised for flat junctions and bevel junctions respectively. The user interface(UI) is designed, the code structure is also determined here.Chapter 3 serves as detailed design of the software. According to the framework determined in preliminary design, detailed designs for each functional module are described.Chapter 4 selects some typical roadway junction as examples, producing complete shop drawing using the software developed by the work of the thesis.Chapter 5 includes conclusions and prospect. Functions on automatic drawing and calculating are recognized, the shortage of the software on decision-making are raised. The develop direction of coal mine roadway junction CAD is also addressed.
