Protection of furniture is in process as well.The article is the study on furniture shape of Yi ethnic in Liangshan Autonomous Prefecture with system theory. The Yi's culture characteristic, the life style and the producing style are included.There are two times: One is from 1910 to 1949, by now the Yi ethnic in Liangshan was in the slavery society. The article mainly analyzes the furniture which the aristocrat used, dissertating their shape characteristic; Another one is from 1949 until now, the furniture with Han element appeared.Both exterior factors, like geography, climate and interior factors, such as culture, history are particularized in Chapter two to three, all of which are recognized as influencing factors to the furniture. And, on this base, Chapter four to six makes a detailed analysis of the furniture shape, such as the furniture being a part of the house, unique structure control, decorative design, etc. Chapter seven analyses the relationship of furniture and furniture environment according the system conversion.
