How to construct environment-friendly city under the direction of Scientific Concept Development is a important topic that is environment production faced in a new period.Whatever new thing needs a set of standard for measurement. on the question of the mode of city's development, we have brought up sustainable city,ecology city,environment protection city and so on, then brought up its evaluation index systems. This article study on environmental index systems of environment-friendly city construction focuses on three main researches as followings:â‘ look up research data at home and abroad, summarize the basic theory of environment-friendly city construction.â‘¡on the basis of researching sustainable city,ecology city at home and abroad, it defines environment-friendly city and put forward its connotation and characteristic.â‘¢the establish of environmental index systems of environment-friendly city base on its connotation and basic theory, Analytic Hierarchy process is applied for the weight of indicators, points out the method of calculating index system.â‘£Finally, combining the state of environment development of Chongqing in the recent years, and carrying out the index system.The study showed that environment-friendly city is a transitional state during sustainable city and ecological city. The aim of environment-friendly city construction is a important indemnification for the development of sustainable city and ecological city.The results of this research are used for Chongqing city which shows environmental index systems of environment-friendly city construction can reflect the comprehensive environmental question for city's development in a big degree.
