The Research And Optimization Of Material Management System For Special-Steel Enterprise Based On MES

In recent years, the steel industries, especially the special-steel enterprises are facing tremendous changes in the whole production process. There is a trend of more varieties, more spec, small batch production and the complexity of the production process. Aiming at achieving high profit to ensure producing smoothly, enterprises need to enhance the control on production materials, to assort with the relationship between functional departments in enterprise, to control material management for supplying well, turning over fast, low consumption and saving cost.The common issue of material management system based on MES is researched according to production management system in Dalian Jinniu Co.,Ltd of Dongbei Special-Steel Group, complex material management in production process of special steel enterprise as object. The information system that is running in the above has assisted production administrator to manage in the process, monitored the whole production process and improved the level of product management. Since the management level rose, enterprise produced a new requirement. Optimized material management function model is established by IDEF0 modeling technology, through the analysis of the original material management information system and studying on integration between various business models; Optimized material management information model is established by analyzing the original material management information model and researching the data structure of product in special steel enterprise. Based on the optimized functional model and information model, the expansion of the functional modules is designed in detail, realizing the steelworks tracking function and the information integration between material management system and cost management system. According to serious studies on the key technologies, such as page-control, EJB and procedure of database based on B/S mode, the functions of the system are extended, while the optimization modules are implemented successfully.The optimized material management system of the special-steel enterprise satisfies the practical requirement of the material management, strengthens the control of material flow for production department and provides accurate production data to ensure the accuracy of cost accounting.
