| In order to meet the needs of developments of foundry production lines towards self-curing, automation ,high efficiency and controllable production , pre-drying and drying work positions are set before and after the sand mould (core) coating position, at the same time a gas (or electric) hot air cycle sand mould (core) drying tunnel is introduced here. The most typical feature of the electrical heating tunnels used before is electrical heating element distributed inside the tunnel, the heat produced by these elements radiates at the surface of work piece directly. What I aim to emphasize here is one heating method which complete heat exchange through convection: the heat produced by electric heating tubes is taken away by air through hot air passage blown to the surface of the workplace, then the hot air returns to the heating cavity through air suction passage and the next cycle begins. The drying tunnel is featured by heat efficiency, automatic control of the tunnel temperature difference; excellent modulation function, small temperature difference; controllable and drying quality, it is the best equipment for the drying of resin mould(core) at present.This paper mainly focuses on the whole structure design of new hot air cycle drying tunnel; introduction of hot air cycle theory; explaining and analyzing the whole process—producing of hot air; blowing out of the hot air; heating the workplace; sucking back of the hot air; reheating the air; the improvement of overall design; comparison between the new design and old structure of the tunnel ; domestic elements list; comparison of cost; comparison of using expiration estimation.With the development of the hot air cycle technology ,in accord with the science technology innovation plan of machinery industry, the technicians in the sixth designing academy of the machinery department, Zigong casting foundry Luoyang No.1 tractor all got some achievements in the practical application of hot air cycle. The technologies such as temperature controlling, the structure of the tunnel energy consumption controlling are becoming more and more makes a comparison with the technology abroad and takes their respective even heating by multi-heating houses. It is expected that this thesis can improve the structure of the tunnel so that the tunnel can adopt more reasonable method when drying different object ,so that many domestic factories can benefit from it in the decrease of manufacturing cost.The main contents of the thesis include: the whole structure design of the new hot air cycle tunnel; the detailed explanation about the whole process of product of hot air, blowing out, heating of the work, the introduction of the design of the new structure and comparison with the old structure; blowing speed, power\ choosing of the blower and the calculation, such as the thermo efficiency.Through examining the designing process, comparison with the old tunnel structure ,we can see that the new tunnel is featured by high thermo efficiency, auto-control of temperature ,fine adjustment property , small temperature difference controllable drying quality, so we can conclude that it is the best equipment for resin sand mould.Compared with the old structure has the following advantages: saving steel; being convenient for transportation and assembling; the surface can be beatified the merchandizing degree of the tunnel can be raised; the blower and heater are all equipped and it is advantageous for the tunnel to keep the temperature of the hot air, lower working inside the tunnel; the design is in live with energy conserving environment protection, integration and practical requirements of modern enterprise.The structure with motor inside can keep the temperature, lower the noise and the height of the tunnel. The key is that heating by unit can have even heating effect, so that the temperature cure is exactitude, and these are all helpful in improving the drying quality of the workplace.This research mainly makes use of heat conducting hot air cycle, surface drying theory the designing theory of steel structure tunnel. In the design and application field of industrial tunnel, the application of the hot air cycle theory by energy conserving, new tunnel structure and optimizing of the design have reached the advanced level of the industry. |
