This study was designed to separate viscous oil residue from raw materials, mixingthe thin oil residue, viscous oil heavy deasphalting-oil or extractive of petrol distillates with15wt% viscous oil residue, to generate obvious benefits with the preparation of 1B rankpetroleum coke. Utilizing the decalcifying agent KR-1 and cyclic technology developed bydomestic, the viscous oil is treated under the test condition: mole ratio of agent tocalcium1.2-1.5:1, water 8-10wt%, mix temperature less than 90℃. The metal and calciumcontent in purified oil can efficiently decrease (decalcifying efficiency to 82.5%). Evenmixed with 15wt% viscous oil residue, decalcifying efficiency of raw material can meet therequirement of preparation of 1B rank petroleum coke (calcium content of purified oil 37.9μg/g, total metal content less than 50μg/g). The result of active carbon preparation testindicates: utilizing water vapor to prepare active carbon under 850℃, yield is less than50%, peaked surface area is only 456.74 mg I2/g (iodine adsorption). Also does it showthat, utilzing KOH as active agent under 800℃, alkali to carbon is large than 2:1(m/m),and can produce the active carbon for industrial water treatment with the surface areaexceed 1000 m2/g, and the yield of active carbon is as high as 80wt%. Result ofcarbonizing test of 1B rank coke shows: low sulfur content coke can prepare calcinedcoke for aluminum production and normal graphite electrode material. At last, industrialtest result shows that the total income increasing exceeds 13 million Yuan.
