Study On The Analysis Of Flavor And Flavor Material For Tobacco

The application of flavor and flavor material, the indispensable material in the production of cigarette, is related to the establishment and development of cigarette's brand tightly, so the prescription is the nuclear technique to the company. Therefore, the determination and quality control of flavor and flavor material play an important role to the production and characteristic of cigarette.Our experiment focused on finding the most appropriate analytical method for flavor and flavor material of tobacco. The appropriate extraction method was established through the comparison and improvement of the common used methods. Then we optimized the condition of gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Based on the experiment, we found and verified the best method to determination of flavor and flavor material. The content of this paper includes four parts.The first part introduces the importance of flavor and flavor material's determination, followed by the comparison of the method to extract,separate and detect them Through the introduction of Chinese traditional medicine's chromatographic fingerprint, we pointed out the study method of flavor and flavor material's chromatographic fingerprint.The second part optimized and established the condition of separation and detection methods by gas chromatography. We compared and improved the common used methods and confirm ultrasonic solvent extraction as the most appropriate extraction method by thinking over the efficiency of extraction, RSD, convenience and environmental protection.The third part verified the established method by analyzing five different samples. It was proved that the established method is applicable to analyze flavor and flavor material mainly. We can distinguish the different samples and control its quality by gas chromatography.The fourth part established the chromatographic fingerprint of flavor and flavor material by analyzing ten batches samples which are the same brand. We recognized the unknown sample by the chromatographic fingerprint.
