Research On A Planet Grinding Equipment

Domestic remanufacture engineering has a rapid development in recent years. In this dissertation, the development status and prospect of the remanufacture engineering at home and broad.are introduced. Subsequently, its applaction in the huge fan's spindle is present. At the same time, the forms and the reasons for the failure of the huge fan spindle are analyzed; also, the article briefly introduces usual methods of repairing the huge spindle, and points out their main processes, fields of application and characteristics.Based on the characteristics and the main problems of repairing the fan's spindle at the scene, a planet grinding equipment is designed. The work theory and whole structure of the equipment are explained, and then the project tries to apply Finite Element Method (FEM) to the analysis & design and the optimization of the structure of the equipment.The planet grinding equipment grinds the spindle's cylindrical surface and the both shoulder sides with the method that the equipment turns around the fixed spindle. Firstly the whole structure and the main compounds of the equipment was analyzed and designed, and then with the FEM software ANSYS, the finite element model is built according to its structural character and work conditions. The structure of the rotary bracket and the workbench is optimized according to the static FEM analysis which determined the stresses and displacements in the bearing under all sort of typical work conditions. The results of structured optimization revealed that the radical displacement could achieve the expected goals when it was very small.A planet grinding equipment which is used to repair the cylindrical surface and both shoulder sides of the huge spindle at the scene is designed in this project. It directs a feasible technology to repair the huge spindle on-the-port.
