The Research Of The Situation Of Furniture Industry Terms Standardization

On the basis of studying the literature, combining with the terms and the theory of standardization, this dissertation designed the investigation program for the on-the-spot investigation and survey of the standardization of furniture enterprises'terms, and analyzed the enterprises'attitude on the function of standardization and the current status of implementation of standardization.This dissertation chose three different standardized plate furniture manufacturers in Guangdong province as the object of study for the on-the-spot investigation, analyzed the design department, two group of production department (the group of woodworking machinery for processing and the packaging group), the management department of hardware warehouse and the management department of finished product, made the horizontal and vertical contrast of the departments of the operation process, and discussed the function of the terms in the work process of various departments.The survey chose the main bases of china's furniture production: PRD, the Yangtze River Delta region, and Shandong,Sichuan Province,, analyzed the results of survey by applying the method of SPSS software's Pearson Correlation, measured and tested the correlation between variables by using test of two-tailed. The following conclusions by analyzing:1. Term impacts on the full process of the furniture production management. Through analyzing material cutting sections, grouping frame sections, ranging drills sections, the higher the complexity of technology is, the more detailedly the standardization of terms is required, and the more greatly the terms function. From the ranging drills sections, the combination between the standardization of terms and product standardization can directly reduce the time of debugging machines by over 40%, indirectly enhance the quality of the product substantially.2. The standardization of terms reduces lots of repetitive work in the preparation of technical documents in the design department. The combination between terms and parts universalization can reduce the time of drawing by about 70%, reduce the times of the risk of errors by more than 60%.3. The essential of the management of hardware warehouse and finished product warehouse can be summarized as the management between product name and object in one-to-one method. The total mumber of the kind of hardware can be reduce by 10% after unifying the standard terminology .Compared with only the use of information technology, the management of combining between the standardization of terms and informationization can reduce the total working time by more than 75%, the storage volume of usual hardware in hardware warehouse by over 10%, the proportion of the funds of procuring sluggish material in overall funds by more than 3% ,the working time of counting stockpile by about 75%, the time of reconciliation between finance department and warehouse management department to zero, and enhance the overall efficiency of hardware warehouse management by 120%.4. From the geographical distribution of the sample, the PRD large enterprises generally pay great attention to the function of the standardization of terms, but the middle and small enterprises have low sense in the standardization of terms. On the whole, enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region has a high level of the standardization of terms. From the annual output value of enterprises, the enterprises of their annual output value more than 70 million work better in standardizing the terminology, consider the standardization of terms important. By contraries, the enterprises recognizing that the terms are not important and the standardization of terms is irrelevant to production have their annual output within 30 million Yuan. Because large enterprises have a clear division and frequent exchanges between departments, and demand the standardization of terminology unification at a high level in practice. From the time enterprise established, Because the unification of terms mainly resolve the accuracy problem of the internal exchanges or exchanges between enterprises, and has a poor relation with the length of time of enterprise establishment.Research shows that the level of China's furniture industry standardized terminology is not high. Based on the furniture industry extensive using information technology and the division and collaboration in the sorts of furniture industrial park and the theoretical research background of furniture industry gather, the theory of the standardization of terms are to be studied in urgent need. Recommended industry standard "plate furniture industry standard terminology" is to be released. Domestic furniture enterprises are proposed to refer to this standard to making its own terminology standards and naming rules, and research the standardization of terms from the aspect of the development of the industry to lead to the healthy development of furniture industry.
