The Design And Research Of Control Of Automatic Vertical Drier

The definition of drying is exhaling water from the solid or liquid by using energy.The drying process is very important in the national producing, and used in every department such as agriculture and industry. The tile drying is a key step during the ceramic industry.Now the tile drying in our country is mainly using traditional desiccators which is low in automatization and can not keep the drying quality as well as need more worker.Vertical drier is used to dry the tile. It is a useful product which is low cost,easily controlled and needs less place so that it is worth using.With the development of the ceramic industry , more high quality drying machines are needed. Sample two-dimensional design will be replaced by three-dimensional design which has more advantage. And the computer controlling system will replace the control manipulated by people.This project will design a vertical drier for tile. We use Pro/ENGINEER as the platform for the design, and optimize the main parts based on their structure and character. We design the temperature and process controlling system based on Micro Controller Unit. Completed major work in the following areas:1. Three-dimensional modeling of the vertical drier based Pro/E;2. Drying process controlling based on Micro Controller Unit;3. Controlling the drying temperature quickly and exactly with PID controller and Micro Controller Unit.The design of vertical drier is finished in Pro/ENGINEER interface. The good interface which can develop parametric design easily will be helpful in finding the flaw of design and modifying it quickly. The temperature and process controlling system based on Micro Controller Unit can improve the drying efficiency and quality.Parametric design of whole sets makes the vertical machine series design became a reality. Building Micro Controller Unit controlling system can make the control more accurate as well as reduce the cost.
