| View Emulation, also called environment emulation or virtual reality, is not something new of recent years. Its development is close correlative with those of computer software and hardware. Though interaction, real time, and immerging feeling are the most outstanding characteristics, the real interaction was not achieved till the recent 20 years because it has very demanding requirement for the computer graphics technology, both third dimension and real time are necessary. In fact, third dimension and real time are always what the computer graphics in pursuit of. At the same time, third dimension and real time are contradictory. The development of virtual reality including two aspects: one is hardware such as input & output equipments etc., the other is software such as relative software improvements and new technology application.Dry -type cut system for under water oil pipeline is one of important schemes of State 863 Program, and its principle and upgrade plan have been finalized by cooperating study of some universities.The thesis task is, on the basis of design drawings, to build basic model by 3ds max, and then make emulation view animations, realize three-dimensional interactivity by the software Cult 3D, such as browsing from different angle, zooming out and zooming in, moving etc, combine all the multimedia materials such as images, videos, audios, and texts by Director to achieve the expected emulation effect.3DS max is object oriented software. Everything created in max is object, including geometric object, cameral, light. Even editor, animation controller and bitmap material definition are objects. Cult3D of Cycore now has been the leading brand in the field of internet 3D interaction, whose aim is to become the 3D graphics standard in the internet field and add more interactive items. With the development of 3D database technology,Cult3D is expected to offer all 3D operation interface of higher level interaction and emulation for e-commercial, remote education, art exhibition and vision guide.Director can combine lifelike images, full screen or longer DVDs, audios, animations,3D models,texts, hyper texts, bitmaps, and flashes.Xtra programs can improve the function of Director. Users can make executive files, access memory, publish and control other applications by Director.This thesis consists three parts:The first part is to build original and modified models of under water oil pipeline maintenance machine. Get to know the work environment and work intensity of the machine.Taking appearance, material and color into account, build the perfect prototype model. On the basis of basic model, complete the under water dry-type oil pipeline maintenance animation emulation. Accomplish the edition and combination of the animation by Premiere.The second part is virtual demonstration of product. Internet has been more a platform for information publishing than ever, and it is developing towards the direction of 3D and interaction, bringing us the lifelike feeling. Pay more attention to the detail and lifelike feeling when building a model. Control the file size by using fewer planes. Adding interactive operation and audio by Cult3D, propagandize products promptly by virtue of the advantage of internet. Make the audiences know the product completely.The third part is multimedia material combination by Director. Achieve interactive function with the animations by Cult3D. Complete the thesis by combining multimedia materials such as drawings, product introductions, animations, interactive audios etc.
