The western peripheral area reservoirs have developed in recent years of Daqing oil field have features of thin thickness, poor petrophysical property, instable development and complex distribution of oil and water. Because of the resolution of seismic technology, it is difficult to predict this kind of reservoirs. Logging technology coincidence becomes unsatisfaction in reservoirs division and fluid identification because of shaliness, calcium and thin thickness. Particularly the technology that develops the low permeability and oil/water mixed layer hydrocarbon representative by Puxi oil field is at the stage of exploring. So we established the research topics as study on fluids identification and reserves exploitation methods of comprehensive hydrocarbon in Puxi oil filed. In the current technical conditions, we breaked the conventional reservoir's methodology and studied, fluids identification in thin and bad reservoir, perforating and water injection program preparation.The contributions of this paper are as follows:1. Based on the analysis of logging response of Putaohua reservoirs, made clear that low resistivity oil layer was mainly due to thin oil layer, high clay content and high irreducible water saturation. High resistivity water layer was mainly due to reservoir compact, calcium, and residual oil.2. Research the fluids identification of the extra-low permeability complex reservoir. Setted up the methods such as classification plot method, half metered explaining plot method and pyrolysis parameter explaining method.3. Seismic prediction technology is difficult to accurately describe thin and poor conditions of the reservoir and it can cause greater risk of drilling. Based on the early regional geological studies and favorable block selection, according to the seismic prediction distribution of reservoir, strengthened geological studies ,preparated of fine rigs operating programs, based on general idea rolling drilling of overall evaluation, implementation in batches, drilling tracking to ensure that the drilling success rate.4. Classification of a reservoir at the core, integrated multi-disciplinary research and understand reservoir characteristics. In accordance with the principle that first test and step-by-step implementation in perforation, ensured oilfield development results5. Improved water injection program preparation method and advanced it for complex reservoir adaptability.We resolved the bottleneck problem restricting Puxi oil-field's development, provided the technique for the big area development of Puxi oil-field via the researchin this paper.
