| This paper was supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China—"Research about some key techniques of dynamic optimization of the machine tool structure"and the key project of"Tenth of Five Year Plan"of Jiangsu Province—"Dynamic optimization design of a gantry style five-axis machining center". The research objects covered the CAD/CAE modeling of the whole machine center and its main components, and identified the parameters of trail interfaces by model test method. Optimization design the disposition of ribs based on sensitivity analysis and dynamic design technology. Finally, the design and application of the Tuned Mass Damper(TMD) on this machining center to reduce the structure vibration at some resonance frequencies.The innovation of this paper includes:1.Dynamics and statics design method was firstly used in the whole structure and main components of a large-scaled machine center optimal design2.A lean rib structure was proposed in this paper to reduce the distortion of the machine center, analysis and application result all show that this change greatly improved the dynamic and static characteristics of the machining center.3.Some main components were optimized based on sensitivity analysis and dynamic design technology, and some conclusions about the disposition of the ribs were achieved finally.4.A TMD was successfully used on this machining center to reduce the structure vibration at some resonance frequencies and the satisfy results were achieved. |
