| The next generation wide-format color ink-jet printers have the characters of high speed, high resolution and full color printing.tint.Therefore, the control and drive technique for high speed and high resolution ink jet head, the parallel drive and control method of multi-ink-jet head and controller hardware architecture are studied, what is more, embedded PC104 module and FPGA was adopt for the design of wide-format color ink-jet controller system with six ink jet head.First, the drive and control technique are studied of single high capability ink jet head, control circuit was designed and validated; parallel drive and control of multi-head are studied and a suit of circuit are designed. Simulation makes it clear that all signals match with needs entirely. Finally, the whole ink-jet controller system are designed with FPGA, data processing are realized by hardware, by this way, the workload of are reduced greatly and the speed of data processing are improved. All the test results indicated that the wide-format ink-jet printer with six head has been achieved the high transfer speed of 2.4mB/S and high differentiate rate of 1200dpi. |
