The computer numeral control(CNC) technology is paid special attention to recently as it represented the manufacturing level of a country. It is possible to develop multi-process CNC system because of the rapid development of the computer technology, communication technology and internet. Multi-process CNC which has many advantages including concentrated control and enhancing the efficiency of the hardware and software of computer system is becoming a new research field.Based on LANTIAN CNC, design and implementation of the multi-process control policy is presented after analyzing the state transition in machine processing in CNC. This dissertation mainly refers to following aspects.1. Giving the architecture of multi-process CNC and functions of modules, interprocess communication and state transition graph in machine processing. In the CNC, multi-process control policy is implemented in task level and simulated in motion level by loading more than one motion controller. Besides, in order to meet the needs of multi-process, HMI is optimized too.2. The implementation of task controller. First of all, interpreter is encapsulated to optimize the architecture. Then, the description and scheduler of process, command allocation and cycle allocation are presented in the dissertation.3. The analysis and evaluation of the multi-process CNC. The experiment data indicates that the work efficiency of multi-process CNC is much higher than that of single-process CNC. Besides, the shortcoming of the multi-process CNC needed to be improved is presented...
