Multi-process CNC system and 5-linkage CNC system are the focus at the CNC technology research currently. In this paper, the design of multi-process NC programming interpreter and non-linear error caused by 5-linkage machining are researched. This dissertation mainly refers to following aspects.1. Design and implementation of the interpreter in Multi-Process CNC. Based on the in-depth analysis of the structure and running mechanism of the interpreter in the existing CNC system, some disadvantages are presented, the scheduling algorithm is improved by using the multi-thread method, the decoding process of G96 and G97 which are used to enable and disable the RTCP funcation are discussed, the structure of the interpreter is optimized and encapsulated, and high-performance interpreter which is applicable for the Multi-process CNC system is implemented.2. The mathematics modeling for universal RTCP algorithm. According to the researche of the motion structure of current popular 5-linkage CNC machine, motion forms of 5-linkage CNC machine are summed up with 12 motion forms classfied into three types. Based on the characteristics of the 12 motion forms, mathematics models are build, and with the models, cutter-axis vectors and cutter-tip coordinates can be converted into motion component on the axes of NC machines.This conversion is the foundation of the implementation of the universal RTCP funcation.3. Design and implementation of the universal RTCP funcation. Because of the rotate kinematics, the machining of 5-linkage brings up the non-linear error. Based on the in-depth analysis of disadvantages of the non-linear error checking algorithm in post-processing system, this paper describes a new design of universal RTCP algorithm which is applicable for each 5-linkage machine with different structure. This paper also presents the theoretic analyze of the errors , the simulated results and the way to implement the universal RTCP funcationin the existing CNC system.
