According to the .NET platform and the language of C#, the hazard gas detection and alarm system combining the harmful gas monitor and alarm system is designed as an available system used in particular situation. This thesis selects monitor and alarm of the harmful gas in the fire spot to correspond a point and the CO gas that floods in fire field is monitored as an object. It is expected to expand to the other harmful gas monitor at the later research work.At present, in the fire fighting domain, the majority fire fighting operation command system having been performed aim at managing alarm in time, responding quickly and reducing to a great extent the casualties in fire because of delaying. Combining some techniques, such as the computer network, the large relational database, the digital signal processing and the geography information system etc., it has abilities of responding quickly, managing an emergency, taking concerted action and processing multiple requests in parallel. In the ordinary, it is made of communication subsystems, fire alarm information correspondence systems, fire fighting information management subsystems and fire fighting geography information systems. All of these systems were paid attention to adjusting the police power efficiently; getting the information of a fire disaster ground such as headwaters and building etc., keeping the correspond 119 commanding centers and directed car on the scene when a fire disaster happened. But after checking many technique literatures, at current, few command system be made for monitoring the fire fight member at a fire spot and fire field environment.This research aims at above-mentioned missing, and a small scaled fire field gas monitoring and alarm system is designed. It used the implode languages and tools including the C#.NET, SQL Server 2000, XML etc., and it also integrated the third square product and technique such as ESPI's MapObjects. Communication project is proposed, which combine a wireless LAN with wired network and imbedded MapObject control to make the spot show in the location GIS system. In the information integration, it used various development tools to build controls interfaces and database of the spot commanding center.In a fire spot, the system can keep the communication of the spot terminal, the spot commanding car and commanding center by easy configure, and it implement the multimedia information exchange in every part by the wireless network. Through wireless communication technique, the spot commanding center can monitor the density of disaster gas especially the explode gas like CO, get know the detail of work environment of the fire fighting member, carry on the survival time and leaving time, and alarm by voice alarming. It can also monitor the spot terminal position and circumstance through the location GIS system, and get the best path for life to direct a fire fighting member to leave the spot as quickly as possible.
