The country's emphasis on the safety production of coal mine has risen to an unprecedented level,but mine disasters continue.The existing monitoring system has exposed the problems in rescue and relief area,in which it is difficult to keep track of the underground personnel dynamic distribution and assignment.Therefore,a research institute has developed a set of underground positioning system based on GIS.This paper is mainly designed to complete the ground monitoring part of the mine personnel positioning system and make the people on the ground understand the distribution of underground personnel and operation situation better through the ground monitoring platform,so as to facilitate the management of the personnel in the well and choose the best escaping route when mine disasters happen.The system is based on the GIS positioning of underground personnel monitoring software with the mode of C/S by the use of Topmap ActiveX and C # language design.The graphical display system is a ground-based server to receive an analysis of underground roadway and the detailed information through the electronic map,which tracks the location of underground personnel and personnel in the wells,providing the dynamic information to the people on the ground,and finally reach the functions of locating and rescuing the people underground.Coal mine positioning system data query is on GIS information monitoring,which can facilitate the electronic map to display mine roadway map,the location of personnel and other supporting information to enrich the system to improve visibility.
