The Application Of CITYgreen In Urban Green-land Ecological Benefits Evaluation

Urban green-land is a vital component of an urban ecosystem and plays an important role in purifying the environment. In this project, the Urban Ecological Analysis is performed to provide a quantitative study of air quality, carbon storage and absorbing, storm water runoff and relevant economic worth of the vegetation in Olympic Forest Park. The Arc View and CITYgreen program are employed for the analysis. At the same time simulation is utilized in the model to predict the function, imitate predicting to the relevant index 10 and 20 years later.The contributions of this study on urban ecological analysis of Olympic Forest Park are,1, Set up the information management system for the Olympic Forest Park, which is convenient for inquiry and management of information, for updating and contrast analysis to the project in the future.2, Collected the data for the vegetation in Olympic Forest Park, which forms the basis of the research afterward. The vegetations in the park are mainly willow, Chinese pine, gingkgo, white wax, pagoda tree, poplar, acacia, arborvitae, tree of heaven, white pine, peach, metasequoia, maple, cherry, paulownia, Chinese juniper, spruce, Chinese flowering crabapple, Huashan pine, western wax tree etc. The willow, Chinese pine, gingkgo, white wax tree, pagoda tree and poplar are the main species.3, Analysised the ecological benefits due to the vegetation planted in the park. It shows that 16.89 tons of air pollution can be filterd by these vegetations, and the carbon absorption and sediment were 23, 443, 000 tons per year and 11, 455 tons, respectively. The corresponding cost was saved for 705, 500 yuan per year.4, The value of the ecological benefits was related to vegetation quantity and species.5, It shows that the vegetation in Olympic park forest are young through modeling tree gowth. With the growth of the trees, their ecological benefits will keep growing.
