With the high-speed development of manufacturing technology and the continuously advance of the quality consciousness, it is not only to be satisfied by the quality of product, but also have the attention of how to keep the quality of product process and to control the quality of the manufacture tache. The process monitoring technology is widely regarded piece by piece. The process monitoring technology explore how to measure reliably and to recognize the object, when there is an exceptional change, and when is the change, the mechanism, extent, and the influence of the change.Based on home and abroad research and application, this article focuses on "Research and development of process monitoring system for the milling of bearing ferrule", discusses the method of the application of the process monitoring technology in the milling of bearing ferrule, R&D the process monitoring system for the milling of bearing ferrule.The whole thesis is divided into six chapters:Chapter one illustrates the important sense of the process monitoring technology in the milling of bearing ferrule, and depicts the development and the situation of the process monitoring technology. Then it is put forwarded that the new requirement of the monitoring system, and illuminates the sense of developing the system. Later it is introduced that the research topic--Research and development of process monitoring system for the milling of bearing ferrule.Firstly, it is analysed that the based composing and the general step of the process monitoring system of the manufacture, in the chapter two. And it is put forwarded the whole structure based on "the double C/S " model of the process of manufacture; then researched the function model of the monitoring system in the local and plant floor; meanwhile, illustrated the actuality of the network of the control system, contrasted the Ethernet and fieldbus control system, put forward the net structure of the monitoring system based on Ethernet and RS485; last, research the integration of the monitoring system and other information system in the enterprise.In chapter three, It is analysed the process of the milling of bearing ferrule, be sure the object and parameter of the monitoring system, stated the principle of the design; then design the whole structure of the process monitoring system of the milling of bearing ferrule; later, designed the retail of the monitoring system, including: the module of data collection, communication module, and the software of the monitoring system; last, the security of system is designed.Chapter four is about the research and development of the main technology of the monitoring system. Firstly, It is researched the real time problem, apply the speediness Ethernet, put forward the project; then, researched the OPC technology, developed the OPC module of the system; last, designed the reliability of the system.At the base of theory study, it is developed that software of the process monitoring system. Chapter five starts from the introduction of the environment of the development; then design the database of the system; last, it introduces the development of the system and the application of the system.Finally, chapter six makes a conclusion of the whole dissertation and puts forward the future research in this field.
