| Na-Montmorillonite (Na-MMT) was modified with different organic cations through aquid ion-exchange method. And preparing technology, structure, antimicrobial activities and antimicrobial mechanism were studied. Meanwhile, antimicrobial emulsion paint was prepared by means of modified montmorillonite with organic cations being added into emulsion paint.First, preparing technology of modified montmorillonite with different organic cations was studied. The adaptive reactant condition of their ion-exchanged reaction is as follows: reactant temperature was 60°C, reactant time was 6h , moral ratio of organic antimicrobial agents and cations' exchanged counts(CEC) of Na-montmorillonite was 1.5:1.0. The exchanged ratio of C12H25CH32C6H5CH2 N+Cl-, (C14H29(CH3)2C6H5CH2) N+Br-(G16H33(CH3)2C6H5CH2) N+Cl- (C16H33(CH3)2C6H5CH2) N+Cl-, (C14H29(CH3)3) N+Br-,(C16H33C5H5) N+Br- and C14H29 (CH3)2N+(CH2)2 N+ (CH3)2C14H29 ) 2Br- was 82.65%, 82.32%, 82.75%, 99.75%, 85.85% and 49.47%, respectively. And the exchanged ratio of (C14H29(CH3)3) P+Br-(C14H29(C4H9)3) P+Br- and (C14H29(C6H5)3) P+Br- was 98.16%, 66.44% and 57.45% at this condition , respectively. Meanwhile, their structure was characterized by TG, XRD, FT-IR. Results show that organic cations had been intercalated interlayer of montmorillonite and their thermal stability obviously... |
