Litsea pungens Hemsl,is one of the most important aromatic plant resource in China. The Essential oils exist in the root, stem, leaf, flower and fruit of Litsea pungens Hemsl. In order to find the value of Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oil, this article from the following several aspects to the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oil launched research:1.Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils were separated by vacuum distillation in different temperature, and we mark the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils which untreated as DZ1,mark the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate which was distilled under reduced pressure at the temperature range of 120~180? as DZ2,mark the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate which was distilled under reduced pressure at the temperature range of 180~230?as DZ3,mark the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate over 230?as DZ4.The thin layer chromatography(TLC)identification results indicated that there were some differences on the chemical constituents of the four sample which distillation in different temperature.2.four sample which extracted by HS-SMPE were analysed by GC-MS.98 compounds were identified in the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils which untreated(DZ1),and 65 chemical components were respectively identified and the main constituents were D-limonene(25.46%),3,7-Dimethyl-6-octenal(19.41%);100 compounds were identified in the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate which was distilled under reduced pressure at the temperature range of 120~180?(DZ2),and 70 chemical components were respectively identified and the main constituents were D-limonene(26.21%);122 compounds were identified in the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate which was distilled under reduced pressure at the temperature range of 180~230 ?(DZ3),and 92 chemical components were respectively identified and the main constituents were D-limonene(20.57%);115 compounds were identified in the Litsea pungens Hemsl essential oils sample distillate over 230?(DZ4),and 86 chemical components were respectively identified and the main constituents were D-limonene(15.30%).3.To explore the bacteriostatic activity of the four Essential oils samples to four different bacterias, comparing with the different size of the loop takes shape by inhibiting the bacterias grouth. It shows that all of the four Essential oils samples possess a certain degree of inhibition activity, and the highest inhibition activity to Bacillus subtilis, the the lowest inhibition activity to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The DZ2?DZ3 Essential oil samples show higher inhibition activity than the untreated Essential oil DZ1.The DZ2 Essential oil enhances bacteriostatic activity most compare with DZ1,especially for the E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus.Show that distillate which was distilled under reduced pressure at the temperature range enhanced antimicrobial activities, but there is no effect in the antioxidant activity.4.The analysis revealed that might be achieved by damaging bacterial cell structure, causing deformed bacterial cells.
