Study On The System Of Metal Cutting Database Based On J2EE

Cutting data is a basic value of evaluating the cutting technology. It is very important to adopt rational cutting data for improving the function of cutting machine tool and cutting cutter. The research of managing the cutting data effectively is in the stage of beginning in our country. Cutting efficiency and the management of cutting data are the weakness of machining and manufacture industry. It is necessary to manage the machining resourse scientificly and effectively for improving the efficiency of the cutting. This paper devotes to the research of Metal Cutting DataBase System(MCDBS) which is based on J2EE. The main work done and results obtained in this paper are as follows:1. Analyzing the meaning of building MCDBS, reviewing the evolution of metal cutting database and pointing out problems existed at present. So it is urgent and necessary to establish a convenient, applied, network distributed metal cutting database.2. The forecast function and intelligence of MCDBS are studied. Forecast function includes the research of cutting force model and cutting simulation technology. Intelligence refers to the Case-based Reasoning (CBR) technology that has been applied to the system.3. The applied software developing technology based on J2EE has been studied profoundly. The evolution, framework and key technology of J2EE developed by Sun Company have been introduced. And the advantages of J2EE have been analyzed.4. Metal cutting database is designed and established. In the Oracle database management system, the metal cutting database is composed of the base data database, the metal cutting instance database, the metal cutting knowledge database and the metal cutting simulation database, which is on the basis of the basic building database technology and the special mode of Oracle.5. MCDBS is designed and developed on the basis of J2EE. The display logic and operation logic are separated by the system. This software is operating reliably and conveniently.
