The development of cutting database service system is an important way to realize the intelligent manufacturing of CNC machining,which plays a huge role in promoting of a networked,intelligent,integrated and environmental production.The support of sensor networking,big data and other advanced technology is indispensable in realize the intelligent functions.Based on the analysis of the existing problems and development trends of the cutting database service system,the research is launched on the basic structure,intelligent functions and comprehensive applications.Reasonable design of logical structure and data structure,feasible method of tool failure monitoring,integrated application system of multi cutting data is researched for the purpose of developing an intelligent cutting database service system.Firstly,based on the system requirement analysis,the overall function structure and module topology is analyzed and completed of the system.And the basic physical data and multi-source heterogeneous data are defined and characterized of the data structure with the help of data element and distributed storage encoding.Secondly,to realize the online real time data signal analysis and decision,in view of the cutting tool damage characteristics of high strength steel material,a tool failure monitoring method is launched.Using empirical mode decompos ition and reconstruction method and modified CUSUM control method,the friction coeffic ient and average power is extracted of from the cutting force signal as the characterization of tool wear and breakage,and based on which,the method of rapid capture of tool failure state is established.Thirdly,to realize the integration of application of cutting data,the CUSUM method is adopted in evaluating and optimizing cutting parameters,and the clustering analysis and association analysis of data mining methods is adopted in analyzing cut ting parameters.Finally,comprehensive parameter op timizing method is given in the control of the surface quality using CUSUM and decision tree method.Finally,to determine the hardware connection and software developing mode,the programming technology is selected to design and develop the user interface of the software,which can realize the intelligent functions launched above,and present images and forms of the analytic result in the user interface through the visualization technology.
