As a consequence, a kind of white fluid polyacrylate emulsion was obtained. In this paper, we prepared a series of the samples containing different DAAM content, and The emulsion and its paint film were characterized with rheological measurements, Laser Light Scattering, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), Torsional Braid Analysis (TBA), DTA and so on.The particle size and particle size distribution (PSD) of the emulsions were measured using a laser scattering. The results obvious showed that the particle size increased and PSD decreased with increasing the DAAM content. The particle size and PSD of the emulsion prepared by Preemulsion method of the second step was smaller than the emulsion obtained by no preemulsion method. The surface tension was measured using German Du Noüy sreface tension equipment. The results showed the values of surface tension of emulsion decreased when DAAM was added into emulsion. The drying speed was measured by weighing the emulsion on microscope slide using an electronic balance. The results showed that the drying speed of the... | Keywords/Search Tags: | DAAM, ADH, polyacrylat emulsion, ambient crosslinkable, aqueous, drying speed, surface tension, rheological property, curing behavior | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
