Having good combination ability with calcium iron, no corrosivity and gotton apt cheaply, 4A zeolite becomes the substitute for detergent auxiliary STTP. In analyzing the massive domestic and foreign literature material about 4A zeolite synthesis, the application, the formation mechanism and the crystalgrowth theory, we used the rich, cheap Guangxi local mineral resource------Ningming bentonite as a raw material to synthesize the 4A zeolite which is good and suitable to be detergent auxiliary by microwave radiation method. This paper's content is as follows:(1) The unformed gel of bentonite. Synthesis of 4 A zeolite using bentonite should firstly make the bentonite unformed gel. Making the bentonite unformed gel was studied by the routine heat method and microwave radiation method.The effect of latter method is better.(2) The synthesis of 4A zeolite using the unformed gel of bentonite. The optimum conditions by the means of the routine heat method without the use of crystallization directors are: SiO2/Al2O3=2, H2O/Na2O=60, the gelatification temperature is 45℃, the gelatification time is 30min, the crystal temperature is 90℃, the crystal time is 3.5h.
