Only passing mould test can we know the rationality of the design and the quality of the products. As a result, it makes longer circle and higher cost. But applying integrative computer aided design, engineer and manufacture (CAD/CAE/ CAM) can greatly improve the level of the design of the plastic mould and the quality of the products.On the basis of introducing injection mold industry's actuality, direction in and out our country the superiority of integrative injection mold CAD/CAE/CAM. This paper combine the manufacture of injection mold today and make use of Pro/Engineer and Moldflow software to carry out integrative computer aided design, engineer and manufacture of the most use injection mold. Link the computer art and the manufacture technique to achieve information modernization of the mold industry in deed.In the content, particularly expound the basic knowledge and the rule of mold design firstly, and complete the design of injection mold by computer aided design software (Pro/Engineer). Then, a brief introduction is made on the content, method of the CAE technology and the use and function of MPI, and analyze temperature, press, filling and flow in the course of the injection moulding process, improve on the shortage of design and optimize the process of injection. At last, bring the numerical control code of the injection mold by Pro/Engineer software, accomplish simulateing manufacture on the computer. |
