Inquiry learning is a new study method after the quality education and creative thoughts. And it is the importance, difficulty and shining points of new curriculum reform. But there are some difficulties to implement it in our country. The reason is that, first, the old long-term education form had caused the students to use only one single study method and to be forced to study, so it needs a time to change this situation that students can study actively and creatively, second, inquiry learning is based on the fundamental knowledge. To counter this contradiction between the new curriculum education reform and teaching education reality, the writer gives her own view about the combination of inquiry learning and traditional accepting learning. Based on the combination, she studies more on this topic, which is necessary and actual .She had taken this method in the normal school students' chemistry class for more than one year to combine and research. In the article, the writer did an experiment between the experimental students and contrast students under the same level, teaching surroundings, teaching conditions and teaching materials. In the experimental class, the writer combined the enquiry learning method and traditional accepting teaching method .The students of experimental class got the better results. And their study attitudes, feelings and social values have big changes. The whole experiment took one year from January, 2005 to December, 2005. Then, the writer analyzed, discussed and evaluated the results. She affirmed what she had done and found the factors affecting the experiment, present problems and study directions.
