The increase of oil production and the decrease of watercut has been achieved in the mainlayers of Daqing Oilfield by polymer flooding, and an EOR technique of polymer flooding in themain layers, which is a mature and leading one worldwide, has been formed. Besides the mainlayers, there are an amount of sub-main layers in Daqing Oilfield, which are fit for the polymerflooding. Compared with the main layers, both the lengthwise and the planar changes of thedeposit environment of the sub-main layers is bigger, and they present a feature of the channelsand, which has an obvious smaller scale of development and thin increasing layers in lowpermeability, and a feature of the lengthwise and the planar heterogeneity. So, they are harder todevelop. But the effect of water drive in these sub-main layers is worse than that in main layers,and have much more residual oil and more potential to produce more oil by polymer flooding.In this paper, based on the numerical reservoir simulation and the experiments in the lab, andcombined with the dynamic effect in the experimental area of the sub-main layers, key points ofthe polymer flooding project are studied;a new optimum design method which is fit for theinjection-production parameters in the sub-main layers of Daqing Oilfield is put forward andapplied during the process of project design in an industrialized development block;thecoincidence rate of the project is promoted and the development effect is improved.
