Research And Development On Polyester Super Microfilaments

Super microfilaments are a trend of polyester filament development.Now the common-spinning method of super microfilaments with the denier less than 0.4dtex,still stays in the exploitation phase in China. This thesis discusses the technical feasibility via common-spinning method for super microfilaments.Through the modification and design,the POY 83dtex/144f filament was produced on NOY spinning equipment of YeZhing Chemical Fiber Co.Ltd.POY was further drawn to DTY56dtex/144f by ICBT12E3 draw texture machine.The super microfilament products via common-spinning method,whose denier equals to 0.38dtex,filled in the gaps in the products of SINOPEC and YCFC. The chip drying,spinning temperature,cooling condition,spinnerette structure ,POY draw ability and many others which influence on fiber characteristic were mainly studied.At last, a complete set with specialized technique was resulted for the products of super microfilaments. The production proved that the industrialization of super microfilament can be realized on the common polyester spinning production line through the changes of equipment and spinning technique.
