Optimization On The Complete Hydro-Process To Produce Naphthenic Lube

Kalamay Petrochemical Company has introduced the complete hydro-process that has been developed independently by RIPP. The unit adopted this process can produce 300, OOOton lube oil every year. Because it is the first completely high-pressure hydro-unit, which is used to produce lube oil in China, it needs to optimize in many ways. After it has been running two years, some drawbacks have been discovered gradually. At the same time, the users bring forward more needs in the use of the products produced from the unit. And the qualities of the products have to be improved for these drawbacks.This paper introduces the production of naphthenic lube oil in China, the running information of the unit, the hydro-process to produce lube oil, and the research of the optimization of process of the unit and the research of the improving in the qualities of the products. There are several important researches such as the reacting temperature match of the hydrodewaxing and the hydrofinishing process, the reuse of discharged hydrogen, the drawbacks of atmosphere and vacuum distillation system and the optimization of filling sulfur for CAT etc. And I did some profoundly researches on the qualities of these products such as the light instability of rubber oil, the haze point of bright stock and the instable qualities in the processing high solidifying point thick oil or in the return of the unit processing. Some achievements of them have been applied to the unit successfully.
